Silver

A precious metal used throughout the Sigg as a currency, silver is known for it's anti-demonic properties.

When weapons coated in silver are employed against non-fae creatures of Chaos such as Lycanthropes, and various types of powerful undead, it allows the wielder to inflict damage normally rendered ineffective against said creatures.

Silvering weapons requires the aid of a silversmith. Assuming enough time is allowed the silversmith to work, one can purchase a silvered weapon for 10x the going rate for a non-silver version of the weapon.
