Quick Character Backgrounds

When rolls fresh characters for the first time, have them each answer all the questions about their particular class. They also roll 1d6 on the background table and fill it out accordingly.

Cleric

• What is the name of your order?
• What is the name of your god?
• What is something forbidden by your order?

2. I was once a criminal guilty of ______. What lead you to your clerical order?
3. As a child, my god came to me in a dream. Describe the dream.
4. My mentor was once a great member of my order. What happened to him?
5. I had an experience that shook my faith in the order. What happened?
6. As youth, I learned to play an instrument and still carry it with me on my journeys. What instrument do you play?

Fighter

• What is your favored type of weapon?
• What is your catchphrase when you defeat a particularly difficult foe?

1. As a youth, I apprenticed as a craftsman in the trade of ______. Why did you stop?
2. I learned how to fight from ______. If not obvious, what was their relation to you?
3. I inherited my weapon from ______. It is my prized possession. Why do you value it?
4. I was drafted in the Battle for Knuhad and got a battle scar. Describe the scar.
5. I developed a rivalry with ______, after they beat me at arm wrestling. Name the NPC, and their relationship to your character.
