Ley Lines

In Sigg, magic flows through the very veins of the Wheel itself. It runs along naturally occurring highways or "spokes" of fae energy crisscrossing the realm.

These Ley Lines are invisible to all without magically enhanced vision and are nearly imperceptible to all but the most well trained magic-users.

It is common for the crossroads of these Ley Lines to result in especially powerful zones of magical energy, often times being where terrifying and legendary creatures make their lairs and dens to feed on the energies available. Other times portals to the fae spring open for up to days at a time spilling out horrible beasts into the wilderness.
